AL Leone BALI CAMP 2024: A RECAP OF AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE
Just a few weeks ago, AL Leone hosted an incredible six-day event on the “Island of the Gods” – Bali, Indonesia. The 2024 AL Leone Bali Camp was truly a standout occasion, marking a new milestone for our brand.
BIGGER and BETTER than ever!
This year, we expanded the camp’s reach by opening it up to BJJ athletes from around the globe, creating a vibrant melting pot of international talent and passion. We partnered with BALI MMA, one of the premier gyms in the area, to provide an intense and rewarding experience over the six days.
Training and Wellness
Each day featured a rigorous 4-hour training session, where athletes were guided by our sponsored stars, Craig Jones and Jozef Chen. The sessions were a deep dive into BJJ techniques, rolling, and drills, ensuring every participant got the most out of their time on the mat.
Mornings began with rejuvenating yoga sessions led by a skilled instructor on the beach. This was the perfect way for the athletes to stretch, breathe, and mentally prepare for the day’s challenges.
Afternoons offered a chance to unwind and catch some waves, balancing intense training with relaxation under the Balinese sun.
Culinary Delights and Friendly Competition
Evenings were filled with team dinners that showcased a blend of local and international cuisines, adding a cultural touch to the camp.
The camp concluded with the AL Leone Friendly Challenge, where participants competed in their respective categories. The competition was fierce, with the final takedown determining the winner. Prizes included a cash award for first place, an AL Leone shorts and rashguard set for second place, and a special sponsorship for the standout performance of the day.
Gratitude and Looking Ahead
This camp was a remarkable success, and we owe a huge thank you to:
- BALI MMA and their team for hosting the camp at their outstanding facility.
- Our AL Leone sponsored athletes for their dedication and support throughout the event.
- All the BJJ athletes who traveled from near and far to join us.
- Everyone behind the scenes who made this event possible.
Thanks to all of you, the camp was truly BIGGER and BETTER. We’re already looking forward to the next wave, roll, and training session. OSS!
